Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups chopped nuts & seeds

  • ¼ cup Fine Ground Hemp Seed

  • 3 Tbsp. soft room temperature nut butter

  • 3 Tbsp. butter or fat of choice (melted)

  • 2 Tbsp. Stevia or sweetener of choice

  • 2 Drops Tangerine Vitality

  • 1 Drop Cinnamon Vitality

  • 1 Drop Copaiba Vitality

  • Pinch or two of sea salt – to taste – REALLY helps with the taste

Directions

  • Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet & preheat oven to 3000

  • Mix & chop the nuts, seeds & ground hemp

  • Cream together the butter or oil, nut butter & essential oil

  • Add the sweetener after you have mixed the butters together & stir well

  • Dump the nuts & seeds into the butter mixture.

  • Be sure all nuts are coated with the butter mixture

  • Spread granola on cookie sheet

  • Bake for 18 minutes

  • Stir & flip granola every 4 minutes – watch for edges burning

  • Allow granola to cool 100% before you store in an air tight container – I like a big mason jar.

Tips

  • Toss your hemp seeds in a blender, mixer or coffee grinder to turn them into a fine powder. It really helps the seeds to stick together. You can use any seed ground fine … I like flax, raw sunflower even almonds.

  • This breakfast has about 6 carbs & around 4 fibers, it will be slightly different depending on the sweetener, nuts & seeds you choose. If you are counting net carbs, it is only 2 net carbs!!

  • If you are eating more carbohydrates, you can add dried or fresh berries – be careful because they add a lot of carbs very quickly.

  • You can switch the vitality oils you choose to use … I use ½ tsp pumpkin seasoning 3 drops Thieves Vitality in the fall. I use 1 tsp vanilla 3 drops Jade Lemon Vitality & Orange Vitality when I want something sweet & fruity without the carbs!! Just play with it.

  • You can eat this out of a baggie on the road or with fresh nut milks or over homemade kefir or yogurt – just make sure you count the carbs & calories.
